In her presentation, Disinformation in 2026: Trends, Tactics, and Best Practice for Countering the Problem, Martha Turnbull will explore how disinformation is evolving, the tactics shaping the information environment, and what works in countering these threats.

The webinar will take place on 20 May at 1.00 pm (2.00 pm Finland).

Ms Turnbull leads the Centre’s work on disinformation, election interference, non-state actors, deterrence, and the Western Balkans. Seconded from the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, she brings 17 years of experience working on national security issues, including hybrid threats and counter-terrorism.

The European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats (Hybrid CoE) is an autonomous, network-based international expert organization dedicated to addressing hybrid threats.
